Kiddie Pool Jump Skate Tribute Brought To You By AeroCraftsClothing

PARASITE SKATE PARK / JUNE 30, 2019

Built as a clothing brand in 2015, Beezo’s, the Creator of AeroCraftsClothing, has since built his brand into so much more than clothes. The brand is well connected in the skate, music, and cannabis scene, and known for some big raffles.

Kiddie Pool Jump 2018

For the last two years, AeroCrafts has hosted a “Kiddie Pool Jump” skate jam at Parasite Skate Park in New Orleans.

The jam consisted of several skate competitions in which AeroCrafts was at the forefront of its formation, competition, and prizes. It allowed skaters from around the city to come out, skate, and compete for some dope prizes.

It’s always hot in New Orleans and people always wanna skate. So, we figured do something new and bring in both water and skating together. We brought in coolers of water balloons and turned it into a summer skate jam.

Last year was particularly important though. Throughout all the skaters pushing around at the jam was someone important. Someone hooked up with Thrasher. A few weeks after the jam had passed, it came to AeroCrafts attention that a photo taken from the jam had made it into Thrasher. Since then, the brand got even more creative and pasted the epic photo onto some grip tape. Then used the tape as a raffle at upcoming events.

Although AeroCrafts won’t be returning for a Kiddie Pool Jump this year due to scheduling issues, a special Tribute to the Jam will still take place. It will not only be a tribute to the skate scene in New Orleans, but a tribute to making it into Thrasher Magazine. As a magazine that everyone in the skate community, and more, look up to, it was a big deal to the brand.

The Tribute will take place June 30, 2019 at Parasite Skate Park. Like at the past events, AeroCrafts will be there with giveaways and a product toss. They will be giving away 5-10 boards, selective merchandise, and there will be a mini skate competition. Additionally, there will be free food and drinks for all the participants.

PAYING TRIBUTE TO THE KIDDIE POOL JUMP’S FEATURE IN THRASHER MAGAZINE

It’s encouraging to see people work hard and together, especially in a man-made place like Parasite skate park. The skate scene in New Orleans is ever-growing and it’s important to highlight the people who continue to grow with it. Big shoutout to AeroCrafts clothing for keeping this going, and we look forward to their next big shot in Thrasher.
