Celebrate Curren$y and Wiz Khalifa’s Upcoming ‘2009 Tour’ with this Throwback Video of Episode 28 of Wiz’s ‘Day Today’ Youtube Series

June 2009 – Wiz Khalifa x Spitta x New Orleans

When Wiz Khalifa was on the come-up back in 2009, he started a personal Youtube video series of his “day-to-day” life. He called it “Day Today”, in which each day was a new episode documenting his day. Which brings us to Episode 28.

Wiz lands back in New Orleans to link up with local rapper Curren$y or Spitta. Upon arriving, the city gives Wiz a nice welcome:

I don’t know if ya’ll can feel what I feel, but it’s un-humanly hot out here right now. Too hot. I can’t even breathe. So, I’m going to go get some ventilation.”

-Wiz

Like in their music, Spitta and Wiz are a joy together. Episode 28 explores Wiz’s time in the city, as they make music for, at the time, their upcoming 2009 joint.

In celebration of their upcoming 2009 tour, set to start soon, I wanted to post this throwback video. Hope you enjoy, as it made me laugh.

Be sure to catch Wiz and Spitta at their upcoming 2009 tour.
