Check out this exclusive behind the scenes video of Ella Mai speaking on ‘Boo’d Up’ at her first Essence Fest experience. When asked by our own Jahztv about her past experiences performing ‘Boo’d Up’, before it caught its popularity, she says it’s all about believing in yourself. It was only a year ago that Ella Mai performed at the House of Blues here in New Orleans, in which she says she faced one of the toughest crowds.
Never thinking ‘Boo’ed Up’ would blow up like it did, Ella Mai made it clear that regardless of the timetable, never stop believing in yourself.
