Our Lincoln Beach Mini Documentary Is Almost Ready For Release! (Details)

NEW ORLEANS—We received a lot of good feedback when we announced that we were in production for a special on Lincoln Beach. We are excited to announce that it’s almost ready!

Lincoln Beach was the only fully segregated black beach in New Orleans. The beach was closed down by the city after beachgoers started attending Ponchatrain Beach after desegregation. There have been efforts to revitalize the beach over the years but none of them picked up steam like New Orleans for Lincoln Beach.

I teamed up with Humans NOLA to uncover the story of Lincoln Beach, and to urge the community to take action in ensuring that Lincoln Beach is reopened to the public.

We will keep you updated on the release details soon!
