New Orleans Designer Sid Vicieux Announces Newtral Groundz 5/04 Day Limited Edition Drop

New Orleans, LA — May 1, 2025 — New Orleans-born designer Sid Vicieux is making waves again with the announcement of a limited edition drop in collaboration with Newtral Groundz for 5/04 Day, a cultural nod to the Crescent City’s creative pulse.

The Newtral Groundz x Vicieux drop is more than just a collaboration — it’s a moment. A celebration of New Orleans energy, style, and street presence, curated through the lens of Vicieux’s bold design DNA.

Vicieux, known for its luxury athleticwear, XL prints, and signature “V,” has become a symbol of effortless power dressing. From stages to sidewalks, Vicieux garments aren’t just worn — they speak. And on 5/04, they’ll speak New Orleans fluently.

“I first created the 504 logo back in 2017 with the goal of making something timeless something that could stand tall next to brands from fashion capitals like New York, L.A., or Paris. Much like our vision, the goal has always been New Orleans to the world. This design definitely brings it back home.”

Only a limited number of pieces will be available, exclusively through Vicieux and Newtral Groundz channels. Each item fuses Vicieux’s elevated design with the cultural roots and raw influence that fuel New Orleans’ creative scene.

“We’ve dropped 504 before but this time, it’s forever. With 504 Day coming up, we wanted to do more than rep the area code. When you’re really from here, it’s 504ever. So we took an old concept and brought New Orleans lingo to the forefront.  The celebration is about more than just a day or area code for us, it’s real culture.”
