New Orleans vs. Everybody: Young Money’s Vice Versa teams up with Negus, Young Juve, and Pusha for single Large Amounts. (The Making of)

[sg_popup id=”15″ event=”hover”][/sg_popup]New Orleans hip hop is going through a renaissance.

We have been hearing a lot about New Orleans artists coming together and rising up out of the “crabs in a barrel” mentality that they feel plagues our culture. New Orleans hip hop has been in the shadows for too long considering the mass influence it has on hip hop. We feel that it’s finally about to be some things happening in the city for the better.

The featured video is exciting because it is the first video showing this many notable New Orleans rappers in the studio working together on one project. The song in the video is by; Vice Versa, Negus, Young Juve, and Pusha. Lil Soulja Slim also makes an appearance in the video with a snippet of a song he is featured on.

The song is called Large Amounts, and the official music video is dropping this Friday. Check out the video below and let us know what you think in the comments.
