A few days ago New Orleans rap legend Lil Wayne announced while performing that Jay-Z helped him with his taxes.
“Jay don’t want me to tell nobody. That man helped me with my taxes. He’s a real friend, y’all.”
Jay-Z definitely gets honorable mention for helping Weezy with his tax debts. Where was his accountant? We need to educate ourselves better on finances to protect ourselves from things like that.
NME reported that Lil Wayne “owed $3.35 million in taxes for 2008 and $2.25 million for 2009, plus other unpaid taxes and late fees dating back in 2002, resulting in a huge bill of $7.72 million.”
