We have been a fan of PJ Morton since the Maroon 5 days. We’ve seen him grow in his career and find his lane after moving around the industry. Morton is arguably one of the best live performers of this generation. A large reason for this has to do with his band, which is held down by two sisters Jakiya Ayanna and Shaina Aisha also known as The Amours. They are currently signed to PJ Morton Records and are getting ready to release their debut EP, Mon Amour.
They were featured on Morton’s grammy award winning live album Gumbo Unplugged, and have recently announced a tour with Morton beginning in late April. We are very interested to see the strategies that Morton will implement to bring success to The Amours.
Have you heard of The Amours? If not you should definitely check in with them ASAP.
