If you’re a fan of New Orleans in the 90’s, it’s without a doubt that you’re a fan of the Hot Boys and Polo Silk (PoloNolaPhotography). They’re almost synonymous. Having been coined as “The Picture Man,” Polo was pulling up to all the biggest clubs in New Orleans, when no one else was. Eventually, people started to take notice of his presence. This ultimately led to his photographing of the hottest artists in New Orleans at that time, ranging from the Hot Boys to DJ Jubilee to DJ Jimi.
