The New Orleans murder rate hasn’t been this low in 47 years.

New Orleans built a reputation for being a city high in murders. The murder rate in New Orleans has been so popularized by pip culture that everyone who visits has to look over their shoulder at least once.

But this year (thanks to the Saints lol) the murder rate is at an all time low! We are excited to announce that with two weeks left in the year we are on track to finish the year with around 140 according to NOLA.com.

This has been a great tricentennial for New Orleans! God’s shining his light on the Crescent City.
